This hotel is beautifully appointed. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had both bath and shower which was lovely. The only down side was that our room looked out on to an interior brick wall which made the room very dark. However, the bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely and quiet. In addition, this hotel is very central to all the main attractions.

We enjoyed our stay, we found that all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The sevice was excellent and the food was delicious. We have no complaints.

Despite being given the wrong key on check-in and finding ourselves in someone else`s room and the fire alarm going off at 7.45 am on Sunday morning, we enjoyed an excellent stay.The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and appreciated all the little touches to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you very much. We would certainly love to come and stay again.

Great location and beautiful hotel with charm.

A very Warm welcome by all the staff on arrival to a perfect hotel in a perfect location. We stayed for a special occasion and the hotel put us a little surprise in our room! Nice touch royal horseguards and thank you. We will definitely return, it`s worth spending that little bit more and getting a river facing room, the view is fantastic by day and breathtaking by night. Highly recommended

The hotel is old, but very nice and well-kept; its interior and furniture is very `"posh", the rooks have different sizes but the two we occupied were of good size and had amenities such as flatscreen tv, hair dryer (curiously located inside the desk, away from all mirrors), towel-warmers (watch out - these get very hot, I actually burned myself on ours). The breakfast buffet was good, there was a large variety of things from cereal and fruit to scrambled eggs (which were a bit too liquid) and very tasty sausages. The coffee wasn`t very good, same with the sirloin steaks we ordered later that evening at dinner. They were expensive, but the meat was quite stringy and did not match the price. The patio outside the restaurant is wonderful to sit when the weather plays along.

Hotel generally good however disappointed with room felt on 9th floor a bit like being in the attic view from only window of brick wall which was about two feet away expected better as we booked and paid sometime ago and have stayed there before. Did ask if we could change room but there was no alternative. Must say your booking arrangements collection of tickets went very smoothly thank you.e

Staff, room, bar...... 5*!

The view from our deluxe double room was awful. The hotel deducted the cost of breakfast for one day. When we book again we would like a river view.

The staff and service were excellent as was the location being situated within a couple of minutes walk from Embankment and Charing Cross. We had an excellent lunch on arrival on the terrace but sadly our room did not live up to expectations as we had no natural light; the window had been opaqued to hide the fact that your view was a brick wall. We also found it difficult to sit at the dining room tables due to the design of the pedestals.

Staff were wonderful. Particularly concierge staff. However the door to our balcony xid not clse and we had a very disturbed nights sleep with street noise, garbage lorries etc. It was a clealry a maintenance issue. pity as we would jope to return as service and hotel ambience were wonderful.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room with good en suite facilities. It was worth paying the extra for a river view room overlooking the Eye and other skyline features. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We never ate here but enjoyed drinks at the bar with friendly and chatty staff. It`s about 10 - 15 minutes from the palace, 5 minutes from parliament and only 3 minutes from Dave`s pad so it`s ideally located to explore.

Upgraded to a delux room (501). Comfortable double bed, pleasing decor, clean room and bathroom but no natural light. Windows blacked out relying on electric lights, the only down side to the accommodation. Have stayed at this hotel borfore and would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet get away in an area which is only minutes from tube stations and city centre.

Perfect location, excellent staff, immaculate rooms, very well looked after. Couldnt have asked for anything better. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Room comfortable with everything you could ever need. Only downfall were prices in hotel £3.50 for a can of coke and £7 for a small bottle of lager. Had food in bar and that wasn`t top quality but premium price!

My choice of Hotel as part of my husbands birthday present was a great choice, the staff were friendly & professional. The room was Lovely with fantastic views. A beautiful hotel overlooking the Thames. Thank you to the management & staff for making our stay a memorable one. We`ve stayed here before and always receive a friendly welcome from all members of staff. Our deluxe room whilst compact, was nicely fitted out and decorated. There was a long queue of people for breakfast on Sunday, but staff managed this very well and breakfast was worth the wait.

It was good to be given a room overlooking the River Thames and was a nice touch to give my husband chocolates and birthday greetings. Elemis toiletries, bathroom, bed linen and comfy bed was first class. TV in the shower was useful! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Room was ok but no window well there was but right next to a wall so it felt small but the bathroom was lovely

We have just stayed at Royal Horseguards for 3 nights and can without doubt recommend it to anyone. The main points to highlight are the central location, the perfect atmosphere and comfort of the hotel and of course the service and helpfulness of the staff.
