We arrived really early due to our flight time therefore our room wasn`t ready but we expected that. The hotel were very accommodating and held our cases whilst we went sightseeing and for some lunch. On our return our room was ready and we were informed that our cases had been taken up to your room for us. We had booked a standard twin room, however got upgraded to an executive twin which was great! The room was lovely and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! There was also a delicious victoria sponge in the room as a welcome treat! Overall, very friendly staff, stunning hotel, comfortable beds and no noise from the adjoining train station...I will definetly be back

The room was superb but the breakfast wasn`t what we expected. Run out of plates for cooked food run out of baked beans no condiments on table approach a member of staff who denied working there and had no apology when there was a confusion over us being charged for breakfast when we had breakfast included tables not cleared quickly enough.

This hotel is in great location and very clean/impressive hotel. We checked in and the staff lost are bags (they insisted a conceige brought to our room) we had to wait 2 hours for them - no idea where they went! When I asked questions re agreements for booking, one staff rolled his eyes at me - highly frustrating when we had issue that hadn`t resolved. Breakfast was very basic for 20 a head! (They actually how same chain @ Marble Arch - would highly recommend this one).

Stayed at the grosvenor for 2 days celebrating our 10th anniversary, the hotel is a very grand hotel as you walk into the entrance and is in a great location. However there are a few things the hotel could do to make it that little bit better. We stayed for 2 nights and days and never had the room cleaned once, we had to ring and ask reception for clean towels as we had used the same towels twice but as soon as we called we had new towels straight away and when we returned from our night out we had even more towels. Apart from that the rooms were great. And we went for breakfast at 9:30 the first morning and it was lovely the second morning we went at 9:50 and everything was nearly gone so be quick to avoid disappointment. Staff are very lovely and helpful.

Staff very pleasant hotel beautiful just a shame we were kept up till 2am by guests in the next room shouting and screaming other than that a lovely room and as I said brilliant hotel just ruined a little by the events of being kept up.

My husband and I recently stayed at the beautiful Grosvenor Hotel and we were absolutely delighted. I booked it as a treat for my husbands birthday. The Hotel itself is absolutely stunning, so grand and elegant. The staff were so friendly especially the housekeeping and a young Romanian guy working in the bar. Our room was lovely, the bed was so comfortable we did not want to leave, we hope to return soon. Thank you to all the team

Hotel and room were excellant. We booked an evening meal pre theatre. The initial service was good then it all fell apart. Our starters came and the waiter wanted to take the plates before we were Finished when we had finished they brought our main meal out and our table had not been cleared from starters. It appeared staff were more interested in the football showing in the dining room. Other members of suited staff kept coming in and out of the restrraunt to watch football also. Considering this was my anniversary treat for my wife (the whole package ) it has put me off due to the service. This let what is a lovely hotel down badly. I could have probably got better service at McDonalds in the Victoria station. I would appreciate your comments. Regards Derek

Absolutely amazing hotel the only thing that I would change is the door on the bathroom that closes hard on you when you`re entering it should just be hand close and the toilet roll holder was too close to your arm when you are on the toilet other than that it was truly a beautiful hotel many thanks Robert and Claire

Staff were amazing I cannot rate this hotel highly enough!

Beautiful hotel,friendly staff.Excellent night`s sleep.However,it felt that the room had not been prepped for our use.Only 1 towel in the bathroom,we found more and the tea tray in a wardrobe.Remote was under some cushions and no info about the hotel.Several fittings were loose.Bath needs a handrail as it was difficult to get in and out of.Fire notice is set too high up and is in small print.Breakfast poor.Open until 11 but at 10 there were no staff visible and many tables had dirty crockery.Servery was a mess.Much food had run out.Some dishes just had crumbs.Dirty servers/cutlery on the counter.Bacon-excellent,Scrambled egg-overcooked and unappetising.Good fresh grapefuit.Staff provided coffee and toast,but we had to ask for cutlery,milk and butter.We had to wait for plates as they were"being washed up".I felt sorry for the 2 crew and I stress that I feel this a failure of management/resourcing and not a reflection on the staff.I have had better quality food/service at cheaper hotels.

Went for the weekend for my 21st birthday staff are so friendly room was ready straight away to check in, they even sent me up a slice of cake wishing me a happy birthday and to enjoy my stay with them

What a brilliant, brilliant hotel. We arrived early and were given a choice of rooms, which were ready. We asked if any restaurants in the area could be recommended, we were given several. We were asked if the visit was for any special occasion, my daughter said it was for my 60th birthday. within 10mins of arriving at the room, there was a knock on the door which when opened revealed a birthday cake, sent up by Sonali Sawant, the reception manager who had checked us in. The hotel was ideally placed for the Theatre, the tube and the sightseeing buses. I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting the Grosvenor Victoria again.

Excellent service

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From my initial contact with Feri the Reservations Manager, nothing was too much trouble for him. He really put himself out to make my daughters 21st birthday a memorable experience. What a totally delightful man. The hotel is exquisite & would love to visit again!

This grand old lady looks great after a major facelift. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms at the rear of the hotel are surprisingly quiet. Access to the Tube, the train station and the coach station is fantastic. Plenty of attractions are also within easy walking distance.

We booked a disabled room with disabled access. When we got there my husband told the lady on the desk that I was on crutches. We was sent around a back entrance which was even further to walk. When we got to the entrance there was more steps we called by the button for asistance but waited ages for a reply. I suggest up the stairs which left me in alot of pain. We then met to house maintenance men who saw me struggling. They could not believe we was alocated a room over the other end of the hotel. The guys went to reception for us and got the room changed. We ordered food for room service it took over 2 hrs to arrive...its arrived 1.30 am. In the morning for breakfast the reception said we need to pay for breakfast but we had clearly paid on booking the room. We didn`t pay in the end. We asked to speak to the manager and when talking to him. He said it wasn`t nothing to do with the hotel it was the agent. Totally passing the book

Excellent welcome on arrival from both concierge and front desk who were both very helpful, the room was excellent and we will stay again however most disappointed with restaurant. Front of house at dinner particularly was good but not that attentive. No loose sugar on table for cereals and most surprised when I rejected lump sugar, took a while but did eventually come. The main disappointment was the heat of the food both at dinner and breakfast. Everything was served on cold plates with no effort to warm them up. This made a good ribeye steak ordinary and an English breakfast stone cold well before halfway through the meal.

The breakfast Buffet Room is very small when the Hotel is busy and guests were struggling to get to certain Menu Items (eg: the Juices were tucked away in the corner). This was creating a safety hazard particularly when the waiters were walking in with replacement HOT Dishes etc. Apart from that the hotel was fabulous - our room was lovely and quiet just as we had requested. Highly recommended!

A pleasant stay, well located for our requirements. We would have preferred an earlier check in time. We have not rated the hotel as excellent we had one room with a shaver point not working and one with items not replenished for tea and coffee making, and have had a lot better choice of biscuits in less expensive hotels! All minor issues but just enough to take the top rating away.

What an amazing stay.we were treated like kings from the moment we arrived. All staff were very friendly and nothing was too much bother.it was my girlfriends birthday and the hotel put a card in the room along with a complimentary bottle of wine and a large slice of cake.will definitely be staying again.

Fantastic location if travelling to and from Vicotoria. Hotel staff very professional and friendly, room immaculate and food very good. Hotel a little shabby/tired in some areas and the grand entrance is slightly hindered by the dirty carpet! Our room backed onto the station so the view wasn`t anything to write home about and the noise from the station is audible but didn`t spoil it as we were so tired but some light sleepers may be affected!

This hotel is very conveniently located. The tube station is 2 minutes away.However it should be noted that the location is xxxxxly adjacent to both victoria coach and rail stations, which is convient, is also very noisy with announcements over the tannoy. Started at 7am today (Sunday). The breakfast included was a very good buffet, with the option to pay a supplement for other things on the menu. However, the service for tea and coffee was exceptionally slow. Overall a nice, clean and well appointed hotel.

Although we booked in early for our pre-theatre dinner, giving us an hour and a quarter for two courses, we had to keep asking for our food to be quicker as we were running out of time. Although staff did their best we ended up having to eat really quickly and were actually paying the bill as we were putting on our coats. This was the only downside to an otherwise perfect stay! The breakfast, contrary to some trip advisor reviews, was hot, plentiful and delicious!.

We were lucky got up graded to an Executive Room (although the views weren`t great) but had a good nights sleep. Didn`t bother with breakfast in the hotel, we used their private entrance to Victoria Station and grabbed a bacon sandwich and coffee for £3.49 at Weatherspoons. Third time staying at the Grosvenor and love it. Front reception carpet looking a bit tired but overall the hotel is in a great position especially if travelling in by coach or train to Victoria Station.
