The hotel was faultless even the whirl wind Portuguese maître di in the breakfast room. Every one made this a really enjoyable 80th Birthday right down to the Bottle of wine and chocolates in the room.

The hotel is well placed. The staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely. My only negative comment is that our room was very small - there was only just sufficient room to walk around the bed - and the beds were pushed together! I paid for a `deluxe twin`, and could not find anything deluxe about the room.

The staff when we arrived were friendly,and welcoming. Having never done this before I would defiantly advise any and all my friends that are thinking of doing the same to use this hotel. We will most assuredly be using it again too. We would especially like to praise Maria the receptionist as she was the first person in the hotel we met and it was her that put us at ease and explained everything we needed to know, also a big thank you to Bogi who at dinner was very attentive and curtious. We will advise any of our friends to use this hotel, it had all you`d expect for a pleasant stay. Thank you to all at the Thistle. See you again.

This hotel is very well situated for Covent Garden and most other major sites in London. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby and numerous takeaways and pubs. The hotel is pleasant but my personal view is that it is a little expensive. The lifts are small and not too reliable and the bar was dear....£17 for 2 glasses of wine! The staff, though, were very pleasant and helpful. If I could get a better price I would go back.

Good choice and so convenient to theatres and the British Museum round the corner which is a must. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a superior room and also a birthday surprise of chocolates and card from the hotel team. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel in a lovely part of town and Although central rooms were Very quiet and relaxing.

The room was a bit small but had all that we needed. The extras may my wife`s birthday, the cake and card were a lovely touch.

Very good hotel. Spotless room and bathroom. Good service at reception and very friendly. 10 minutes walk from a lot of theatres and sights. Come to London every year for a few days and for the price paid and location the best so far. Will use again next year.

Hotel very clean and tidy, room was well kept, bed very comfortable, ( not like some other hotels) ,, Staff very polite and helpful, would stay here again next time we come to London.

Location, facilities & staff excellent

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. They accommodated all of our needs, were friendly and the service was brilliant. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

First time at The Thistle Kingsleyand what a lovely place it is! The Location is excellent, especially if you`re going to the Theatre, Coben P First time for us staying at The Thistle Kingsley Hotel. A fabulous location, very near Covent Garden, and Theatre land. The Hotel was great. The Staff were amazing, so polite and very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice too, lovely comfortable beds, and furnished really well. lovely bathroom and toiletries . The heating was very simple to operate too, most unusual as many Hotels have complicated boxes, not here though, Fabulously easy!! Everything was spotlessly clean too. Will most definitely stay there again, been to a few Thistles, but this is a favourite now.

Very clean hotel. Staff were excellent. Only complaint we have is that a service charge was added to our bill for drinks from the bar

Hotel was minutes away from the Shaftsebury Theatre. The room was clean and well furnished. Would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a theatre and hotel break. If they included breakfast as part of the package that would be even better. Had to pay £12:50 extra for breakfast.

Clean warm and friendly central for London sights, theatres, museums, and resturants.

Good hotel Good breakfast and reasonably priced at £12 per head. It is ideal for theatre goers and anyone wanting to see Cov garden soho etc Local to Holborn tube 5 minutes walk Good pubs in vicinity for real ale. I would stay again no problems in the future

Fab hotel, clean and modern room, breakfast had a lot of choice and all checked reguarly by staff, nice dark room and quiet and great for walking to all the sites!

The Thistle Holborn was ideally placed for our theatre break and it delivered on virtually every front. The staff were all charming, attentive and very helpful, the room was comfortable and reasonably well - equipped and breakfast was excellent and very good value. The only negative was that it was impossible to run any cold water in our room. Whichever way we turned the tap, the water was never cooler than warm.

We had a fab time in this hotel .friendly staff who couldn`t do enough for us .very clean and comfortable and in the ideal position for west end shows,Oxford St.covent garden.leicester sq great time.

Staff were very welcoming and efficient - just 1 night theatre break so not much time spent in the hotel. Room and bed very comfortable and helped to revive aching limbs.

We had everything we needed and comfortable bed and plenty for breakfast.Excellent location.
